You could jack up each corner on the front independently and check the tyre profile by turning the wheel slowly and looking at the tread area...been caught out like this before and it turned out to be a small bulge in the tread area which was leading to the shaking. Also, would be worth checking the wheel nuts/bolts to be sure they are tight
  6. Hi John...welcome to the Forum As Dave has already mentioned, the temperature you are reading is perfectly normal but if it does suddenly rise then you could have air in the system. Some BMW engines had a small bleed screw on the thermostat housing area which you could extract any trapped air from. Also, sometimes the impeller on the water pump parts company and this can also lead to a temperature increase. Cheers, Trevor
