  1. I suppose you could try a light coating of sealant as belt and braces
  2. Aftermarket coils are cheap but quality can be dubious....would stick to German produced parts or OE if possible. not sure of exact costs but could look on Eurocarparts as they offer huge discounts periodically
  3. Not sure but maybe worth seeing that they are free....gently pull it up and see if the jets are blocked
  4. They are generally good engines and respond to routine maintenance with reliability. Plugs that are gapped correctly, oil that is changed regularly, good quality fuel are just a few things to assist in avoiding expensive repairs
  5. I believe it is an O Ring that sits between the two surfaces...probably dried up and needs replacing
