  8. Hi Paul welcome to the club! :)
  9. I would stick with the genuine ones to be honest. A quick glance and it looks like you need 2 parts: http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/BMW-Genuine-Wind-Deflector-E89-Z4-Roadster-Convertible-54347200808-/171165515343?pt=UK_CarsParts_Vehicles_CarParts_SM&fits=Car+Make%3ABMW%7CModel%3AZ4%7CPlat_Gen%3AE89&hash=item27da427e4f http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/BMW-Genuine-Roll-Over-Bar-Hoop-Covers-E89-Z4-Convertible-51439128411-51439128412-/180931271966?pt=UK_CarsParts_Vehicles_CarParts_SM&hash=item2a20581d1e Not 100% sure but may be worth checking out. Looks like there are quite a few bits on ebay and the priced vary quite a lot so worth checking exactly what you need before buying!
  10. Welcome to the club Marc - hope you get the problem sorted! :)
  11. It seems like a nice looking bumper!
  12. Hi Paul, It can be done but it does require quite a bit of trim to be removed in order to get at the stereo. That's probably the most tricky bit to be honest.
  13. Hi John welcome to the club! Sounds like a nice example you have managed to find there! :)
  14. Hi welcome to the club. :) Both the cars in your photos are E46 models. The one on the left is a facelift and the one on the right is a pre facelift. You can tell by looking at the headlights.
  15. Hit 'more reply options' and then you will see the 'attach files' options. Simply attach the one you want and then press 'insert in post' Job done :D
  16. Hi Stephen welcome to the club! I guess you need to leave the trendy shoes alone for the time being! :P Hope you figure something out though they're lovely cars!
  17. Hi Daz welcome to the club. With regards to the CD and phone connectivity. Just get a new head unit that has bluetooth in it. Simples!
  18. I believe it's where the charge pipe is connected to the hose by only a thin metal band and these give up eventually. You will probably need a replacement part from BMW unfortunately.
  19. I don't know a huge amount about this sort of thing I'm afraid but I have seen people in the past with similar problems and they have just changed the heater control valve and that seems to sort it most of the time.
  20. Hi Mick, welcome to the club! Nice looking 1 series! :) Not heard of anyone fitting an M3 bumper on a 1 series myself but you never know. Would certainly be interesting to see it done! The bumper from a 1 series M Coupe could be easier?
  21. I know some people have had a problem with water getting in around the 3rd brake light on minis. May be worth a look!
  22. Take a look at these guys: http://www.twgautomotive.co.uk/
  23. Hi Tanya, I personally haven't had any experience with wide arch kits on a 1 series however it is quite commonly known that you can find after market body kits on a lot of cars don't fit particularly well and can require quite a bit of fettling and fine tuning. The difference is the aftermarket kits tend to be a lot cheaper than any OEM stuff. Some people try and build their own kits of OEM stuff by buying bits of ebay one at a time but it can take a while and may not come in the right colour too.
