  1. Anyone interested in attending this event with the Club ? https://www.beaulieu.co.uk/events/simply-bmw/ If interested in this event then add your name to the list below We are pleased to announce the return of Simply BMW in 2024 on Sunday 22nd September. All BMW owners are invited to drive into Beaulieu and park up within the museum parkland for what promises to be a superb day out for both BMW owners and enthusiasts. All ages and models of BMW are welcome, which provides a great opportunity to admire some stunning vehicles on display. Club members then need to print and display these in their windscreen on arrival. This helps us then park you all in your club area together. Please note, we do ask clubs to arrive by 10.30am and if members have not arrived by then club spaces will be allocated to general participant parking. Tickets are available online here: http://www.beaulieu.co.uk/events/simply-bmw Please ask your members to purchase their tickets in advance as this will speed up arrival on the day. Tickets are per person, so please ensure that all persons arriving are covered by a ticket. UPDATE Please find attached your club label (click on PDF link below)– please can this be distributed amongst your club members prior to the event. Please ensure that they print this label and display it in their windscreen upon entry to the event, this ensures that all members wishing to park within your club area are directed to the correct parking location by our stewards. Please do not modify or add logos to the club label. Bimmer Owners Club.pdf We do ask that all individuals have purchased their tickets on an individual basis in advance via our website, to speed up the entry process on the day. This can be done on our website here until 2pm on the day when admission closes: https://www.beaulieu.co.uk/events/simply-bmw. The entrance will be open from 9.00am. Please note, we do ask clubs to arrive by 10.30am and if members have not arrived by then club spaces will be allocated to general participant parking.
  2. Lol...Same here, I would be worried if my Z3 drank like I did
  3. Yeh, that's not too dissimilar to mine when driven around town and put under hard acceleration. Motorway is definitely better and can achieve high 30's at a slightly slower pace than everyone else Also, if you have the autobox version then this would traditionally return lower MPG than a manual (seems to be the other way now with modern autoboxes)
  4. I have the 2.0 litre version and it returns on average 30mpg on extra-urban run. Doesn't change much on motorway driving but tend to stick to around 60mpg as the 6 cylinder seems to enjoy those revs at that speed and being 23 years old there's little point in thrashing it to destruction. 24mpg on semi-urban driving is not unreasonable for the 3.0 litre engine. I assume yours has the 5 speed manual transmission?
