  1. Its a fine looking Zed, no wonder you want it back 🙂 Had a few cars (and women) myself that i wished i'd never moved on
  2. The other alternative is to remove them and replace them with the style as above....probably more readily available as well
  3. A very fine collection of vehicles Dave, especially the earlier ones 🙂 There's certainly a few in that list that are still on my wish list
  4. Hi Iain....welcome to the Forum Not sure if its just me but cannot see your photos, don't seem to be loading properly?
  5. Oh now you are talking proper cars Dave (as in the sort that legends are created) Although the Cosworths hold a special place in most car enthusiasts hearts the Carlton on the other hand is close to being a demigod of cars (in my mind) and unfortunately never had the opportunity to own or drive one
  6. Hi Martin.....welcome to the Forum AC or not, I'm sure the Zed is a superb car especially as it has a 3.0 litre lump in it. I assume this is the badge you are referring to? You can get aftermarket ones through BMW suppliers, not sure of costs though. Feel free to post up some photos if you want, would love to see it Good to have you onboard Cheers, Trevor
  7. Hi Richard....welcome to the Forum If you have jump leads connected to the under bonnet terminals then it should provide enough power to unlock the boot or doors at least. Probably not sufficient power to pass through to the battery to jump start but enough for ancillary circuits though
  8. Hi Dave, we are good thanks, hope you and yours are well? We've been restricted to 3 bottles of wine at Morrisons, although we didn't panic buy food, just wine 🙂
  9. You haven't progressed to mid morning beers yet then Dave? 🙂 They do say that alcohol consumption is definitely up since the lockdown and I can vouch that someone has been putting empty wine bottles in our recycling 🙂
  10. Hi Debbie....welcome to the Forum Good to have you onboard
  11. As we are in lockdown and trying to find things to occupy our time, polishing the car seems quite popular with the majority of us. So, what do you think is the best Polish to use on your paintwork?
  12. Windy....to blow the cobwebs away and intake of fresh air during daily exercise 🙂
  13. Resurrection - as in this post....about time it was revived 🙂 Please feel free to add to the list
  14. Hi Lee....welcome to the Forum Wow! she looks superb ! Good to have you onboard
  15. Hi Steve...welcome to the Forum ....and welcome to BMW as well 🙂 Interested to see your mods as they occur, feel free to post on here Cheers, Trevor
  16. With all the bad news thats going around lately, let's all keep our chin up with a bit of music. Let's run a "Your song of the day" using YouTube videos Pop a new song up daily and keep it going! my choice today is The Chain by Fleetwood Mac, seems to be chilling me out nicely 🙂
