  1. Yes e36 compact which ran in 2000, Where E36 sedan stoped in late 1998 when the e36 came out

  4. Have you got a multi meter? if so start the car up, blip the throttle then look take a reading with the meter across the to termainals, you should be getting a late 13volts or early 14v
  5. Last night, she was driven to the body shop, HOWEVER, did you know it is against the law to drive without a Bonnet?? TVP were very understanding!

  9. On the 740i at the moment is 063 Battery which is suitable for Astra`s and such like, the battery is fine however due to all the leccys on the car it drains it in about 3 days, if the car is used(when it works) lucky to get 5 days!, put the same battery back onto the Astra and it works fine!

  12. dont take the IS engine out, The IS series engine is one of the best all rounder in the E36
  13. By the sound of it,not man enough for the job!, what is the CCA on the battery?
  14. well if the ABS rings are picking up a signal the other fault tends to be the motor itself has packed up(3 times on the E39 now!) when you turn the ignition on see if it goes into test and retracts the cable then releases it again

  22. Also remember if you re map you car you need to tell ya insurance company! Our engineers plug into all accident damaged cars where possible to check mileage,fault codes,key numbers and for ecu alterations.if they find out about a re map.you have no insurance,and normally 6 points! So take this into account when getting quotes
