  5. Has it rotted away by the retaining bolts? If so just put a bigger washer between the bolt and the heatshields
  6. Yep i agree, however i am sure Ebay rules will mean you have to allow them 10 years!, good old BUYER PROTECTION

  17. Be interesting to see how it reacts when its back on the car!, BMW needs a strong battery to keep everything ticking over. Does sound like a low battery/dead battery to me!
  18. Yes i stand a tad correct,However just be weary of after market head lamps as they can be a poor standard, and the fact that the seller said he had to fiddle with them to make them fit didnt re-assue me.

  23. Karl, Do you intend to keep the car? If so get yaself onto ebay, Buy carsoft diagnostics for your lap top, You will be able to decode faults reset service lights etc, all for about £25!
  24. Welcome along, get the issues up and Il get started with the repair ideas
  25. lamps are separate from the indercators, ebay will sort you out,E36 headlamp unit are two a penny
