Im fairly new member, and trying to get my 323Ci (2000) convertible back to original spec. The sat nav computer unit is missing from my boot, but video unit still there. Researching OEM sites suggests that I need a Mark3 Phillips unit with part number 65906915036. Does anyone have a working one for sale please? I don't seem to be able to start a thread in the buy/sell forum for some reason. I realise that mark3 has been superceded several times, and I still have 4:3 ratio old style monitor - but I couldn't cope with hastle of DIY task of trying to upgrade etc as I am a complete novice at these things, but simply want to get back to original spec.......................unless you tell me it was no good! BMW dealer tells me I have the "professional" mark 3 set up. All input very welcome. thanks

Still want to get TV working, but very confused after researching internet + ebay. This topic probably been done to death, but can anyone point me in direction of previous postings with possible links to photos/vidoes of how to tackle the job?

thanks for all earlier responses. got this fixed by swapping for wheels with correct off-set - surprising what a few mm difference makes -- where have I heard that before?! O/S still looks a bit lower but not rubbing on wheel arch. cheers.

ALMOST CONVINCED MYSELF THAT I NEED TO GET E46 WHEELS ! I KNOW OF SET OF ACS BUT THEY ARE 8.5J WITH ET43 OFFSET.........WOULD LOOK GOOD WITH MY ACS BODY KIT.............BUT CAN I FIT 8" TYRES (FRONT) AS WELL AS 8.5" ( REAR) TO THESE AS ALL 4 ARE 8.5J IF EXISTING E60 M5 WHEELS ARE REPLICAS HOW MUCH MIGHT THEY BE WORTH ( GOOD CONDITION) WITHOUT TYRES??

Just bought 2000 E46 323 Ci convertiblw with hard top. Don't think it has lowered suspension. Tyres are 225/40/18 front and 255/35/18 rear. The o/s rear tyre rubs on the high point of the inside of the wheel arch - o/s looks to be about an inch lower than n/s. My garage says the wheels might be 5 series - but should that make a difference? They tried 3 lots of new springs - standard, touring and heavy duty but didn't solve the problem. Any ideas what the problem might be? This is my first BMW and I am no mechanic ! Can't seem to find a previous thread with this issue. Help please!

I have just bought a great 323ci which has a factory fitted small monitor/screen for computer read-outs etc, including TV (+ GPS which has been removed). The GPS box is now missing from the boot, and the TV was analogue - so it cannot receive any signals at present. Is there a simple way of upgrading to digital ( as we recently had to do at home)? Unless the solution is a simple plug and play, might it be better to go to specialist for advice and fitting? BMW dealer wanted me to book it in to see what is possible, but I guees any solution from BMW will be arm and leg which I would rather not lose at present! Can anyone direct me to online help etc? I also have 2 DVD/video monitors fitted into headrests, but again the previous owner has removed the video cassette player that fed them................it would be great if I could direct TV signals to them also, but that might just be a step too far?? There are some wires and connectors under the center ski bag space between the back seats. I am amazed at all the extra spec in this motor compared to my previous Merc C class - which I am more convinced than ever now was pretty boring in comparison. Surely everyone with pe-digital TV receivers has had this same problem - but I cannot find solutions on this site, and others are non BMW specific. Any suggestions please?

Thanks - I will ask local BMW dealer for their views. No sign of any Schnitzer label/badge by VIN plate under bonnet. Can you give me clues where to get decent accessories without exorbitant official site prices ?

Ive just bought 323ci with similar colour leather seating that needs tlc ................can you give me contact details please if you know tried and tested firm that can do good valet job for me. thanks . Colin

Hi - I have just bought 323i convertible ( convert from Merc C class). Has an AC Schritzner body kit and looks great, but I am trying to ascertain if this was factory fitted ( as the seller described) or an addition by a previous owner. Checking the VIN codes, the model specific code BR320 comes up - but I cannot find out what this means! Wing mirrors and skirts are Schritzner, but there are no extras - eg pedals, gear knob. How can I check the authenticity of external kit - and do I need to advise insurance company ( as it makes the car more attractive to thieves)? And does anyone recommend a site to buy little extras? Thanks in anticipation - a new BMW convert.
