just a few pics of the car i worked on which got the prize of ''best mini cooper'' at the new mini show in aintree. car had about four days worth of work on it, this included a repair to the front bumper, which needed new chrome strips and number plate! car was clayed with a full machine polish. wheels taken off and fully cleaned, wheel nuts were also sprayed silver interior given the full works while i was repairing the front bumper i did a oil change to, car wouldnt fit on my ramps with the bumper on. standerd ride height to!! anyway on with the pics comments are welcome B)

as fare as im aware they dont. may be wrong and just never noticed. they do usually state the car weight, emmisons etc

little update for yers just fitted the new thermostat, put some antifreeze in(still needs bleeding more) charged the battery up and she starts first time B) let her run for ten mins (as its raining) but its early days and all is looking good. seeing as it was raining i fitted some new aero wipers to :D still plenty to do but heading in the right direction.

any one fancy making me one? nothing major fancy, something like what steve has but with my car/name and the forum address on. any one? :D

after alot more thinking and still getting messed around in work (still cant say to much) im looking at keeping the e46 :D was having a little mess with her yesterday and gave me the itch again to get her looking good, only chnaged a broken indicator, tidied my angel eye wiring up a but and had a little polish off the engine head lol got my new thermostat, anti freeze and oil and filter to all go on, then its mot time. just got to wait 6 months still to drive her :angry:

were do we start, if your really ocd youl start with a good clay to remove pretty much everything you cant see on there for a start try some autoglym super resin polish then go over with a wax are sealant. once you have done that no need to polish again for a few months just keep it topped up with your wax of choice say once a month to 6 weeks, longer if you get a good wax. dont wash it with fairy liquid to , youl remove all your hard work :D

any one going are been to the show? ive heard its ment to be good, apparently the saterday at the NEC is sold out to!!

ive always been a fan of megs myself, remember though certain products work better on certain paints/colors etc

They usually melt when the coil pack has a constant 12v and earth. One side of the coil pack should have a constant 12v + and the other side will be pulsed earth by the ECU. Usually when they melt 12v + and - are constant due to a short. Make sure that the wiring from the ECU to the coil hasn't been trapped or is shorting to the engine. copied from another forum :rolleyes:
