  4. will a normal baby car seat fit? if you have ISOFIX go for that as your basically attaching the seat to the chassis. ive always got my car seats from toys r us, they have one are two staff specially trained on car seats. they can talk you thru whats best and actually fit it for you and show you whats what, really helpful. mothercare also do this
  5. welcome to the site jason good few bms there B) any pics?
  6. A quick look on google and couldnt find anything, im guessing its a chain driven one as my three series is if you ring up your local dealer and ask for parts , give them your reg asking your wondering when the chain/cambelt needs chainging they should let you no. welcome to the forum to :D
  7. i had a hid kit on my old megane. easy to fit, similar to fitting angel eye conversion but with out taking your light apart! the law is were it gets tricky your ment to have washers on them, have to be self levelling are something, also ment to have projecter style lights. if thats not correct please let me no , but thats what i got told. i never got into trouble with mine, i did have projector headlights are whatever there called though! this is the kit i got off ebay (think it was about £30-£35) if you look in the middle of the light its the circle bit, the bulb goes in behind that
  8. may have new springs on? need settling in, are may and dont want to worry you have a prob with the suspension you would think it would be a soft ride, my dads X5 isnt a hard ride
  9. welcome to the site, brake is catching? is it the pads worn down, perhaps just need a clean?
  10. suspension is wierd thing, well not really but im sure you get me lol on my old car i had it lowered on apex 30mm springs and it felt alot smoother<--evan the mrs said this!! not saying lower the car but differnt springs might help, have you got run flat tyres? ive heard they give a very bumpy ride and not many bmw (and mini) owners like them and dont keep them. ive also heard some people ask not to have them when ordering new cars
  11. my first car was a corsa 'b'' and some girl i worked with went into the back of me. the spare tyre had burst and wouldnt come out of the well!!! she still blamed me for it  i was waiting to pull out of a junction!
  12. its defo going ahead, its going to be a joint one, mine and a mate of mine gets married the month after and im his best man! god help me on this trip
  13. you will be surprised at how much damage can be hidden behind bumpers i do bodywork on cars and ive had cars for little scracthes/ scuffs because some one hit it goin slow, but after a good look the boot well has been bent, impact beams can get bent easily. plastic has a memory so goes back into shape easily
  14. i was ment to go this year but health reasons couldnt  i will hopefully be going next year on my stag doo, then heading to amsterdam for a few days to see the sights B)

  16. nice, dont no what it means meself but if it means somthing to you happys days
  17. top tip that
  18. thats worth a try only thing i can think of is it could be one of the sensors on its way out? and not showing up yet, could be worth getting some one to scan the ecu if you no any one with one?
  19. sensors are usually a plug and play item, are they color coded? should be just a case of taking the bumper off (not hard at all) and changing the sensor over. welcome to the forum to, pass the word around :D
  20. il have to let my old man no about this site, hes got a X5 3.0 diesal he does love it but misses his boxster s it replaced somedays pulls really well, alot better than i thought it would for a big car. only down side is tyres really
