I have 5, got one on each arm ( outside of bicep)( a celtic dragon and a wolf howling at the moon) 2 on my back about shoulder blades ( a raging bull and a horse rearing up) and a panther on my left side chest, all coloured black and electric blue with red eyes but like all mine, thinking of getting another one on the other side of my chest and maybe one across my shoulders....... just slightly addictive

being BMW owners, does it do BMW image any good to see us fighting over £20.. we re ment to be a class above.......

How would i know if i have xenons? looked all over the headlamps yesterday and nothing saying xenon or halageon.... Its a 2001 728i Sport, now some sites say all 7s after 2000 came with xenons as standard but just wondered if there was a way of telling physically... i know xenons are a whiter light but to be honest treid that last night and was nt so obvious.....Cheers Chaps

Welcome Mate, I had a 530d MTech sport on a 05 plate, Jet Black with M5 bodykit and alloys, Chipped.....this was the days before my business went !Removed! up..........have to say an awesome car and the torque was incredible, shamed quite a few sports cars init.....think its 0 to 60 was bang on 6 secs but its mid range was awesome.....would have left my 330conv sport for dust..plus they dont sound anyhing like a deisel..... lovely car mate

Cheers Mate, cleaned engine bay today but was already spotless, polished alloys and sealed them, hen fitted new bmw hub cap centres so almost looking like new...... gotto stop looking at ebay tho... keep finding new bits to get. Tommorrow will be a polish and seal, fit new wiper blades and replace a couple of bulbs, then should be mint.

Welcome Kat, exactly the same here, Love BMWs and dream car has to be Elenanor in Gone in sixty seconds which in the film is said to be a GT 500 but is actually a GT350 Shelby Mustang with a body kit upgrade, other than that i think i could put up with a 1967 427 Sheby Cobra, think i might have to win the lottery first. Also would nt mind a dodge super charger.

Hope so mate, giventhe interior a buff up and treated the leather, plus had a lil spend up on the bay of e, got new wheel caps, bonnet and boot badges as old ones bit tired so hopefully look even better then just got to do the paint on the roof and get few chips done and should look like new. And better get my V70R back road worthy to sell as this was the condition with the missus.......

Getting good at this lark....... surprise myself sometimes

Went out today and had a look at 728i Sport 2001 on a Y plate. It is Steel Blue with Grey leather, done 121,000 with full BMW service history, had 3 owners with first being BMW for 6 months ( think it was a demo) also came with all its MOTS and a file full of receipts valuing about £6500. Has all original handbooks in folder, 3 keys, full tool kit, first aid kit, basically totally original. Fully loaded with comms pack, Sat Nav/ TV, electric sports seats, Full Mtech kit and everything works. So ended up buying it and had a perfect drive home as was an Hour away. Been away from BMW for about 4 years now and brought back great memories leaving me wondering why i ever steered away from them ( had 6 BMWs in past and the only one i havent had is a 7 series). So now offically a BM owner again. Gonna try and load some pics so hopefully this works.....

was up for £2750 but got it for £ 2500 basically he had sent it to be valetted and the quality blokes there must have had the jet washer on full blast and where there was a stone chip on the front of the roof they lifted the paint slightly, so he was going to have it resprayed but looking at it i could repair it myself and if i make a hash of it my mate will do it for me for £50. so had a bit of a result as the rest of the bodywork is mint.

Went to see it and it was just as stated, checked for the things you have said and it was perfect, not only that went on Timms Bmw site and he had a list of things to look out for, so again checked and all ok but as i was checking the guy brought out a file full of receipts, after looking at them the problems they can have was done last year, ie new rad and hoses, rocker cover gaskets, front mounts and bushes but basically had all reciepts and mots from basically new......Long and short is I have bought it and now own a 728 sport ( an original sport as well) 2001 on a Y plate, colour steel blue with grey leather, full m tech upgrade, with TV, Sat nav etc. So very happy bunny, will get some pics soon hopefully. Hello All, I have just joined and introduced myself in the newbie section. Well Tomorrow going to look at a 728i sport 2001 that if is as the pics looks immaculate, has 121,000 with full BMW service history, a file full of receipts valuing £6000, still has original tool kit with all tools, first aid kit. Also has all the original handbooks with all keys. So if as good as it says and looks i will have to get it. So hopefully tomorrow i will have a 728 if not i will keep looking. Does anyone know of things to look out for on this model, going to look at it at 11am so would appreciate if anyone knows of things to look out for. Cheers Dave

Cheers all, I have that 7 in my watch list, looks good but have seen 2 728i sports on a 2001 and one being an individual ( blue with cream leather piped £3000) so debating what to do at mo, My head says keep under £3000 but my heart is saying b0ll0cks go for the tasty one ...... dont help that my missus is as bad as me when it comes to cars.....

Hello All, Have just joined and looking forward to getting some info when needed. Over the years i have owned many BMs starting with a 518i se on an H plate, then a 318is coupe on a L plate, then a 520i se 1997, then came the x5 3.0 sport 2001, then a 330 m sport convertible 2002, then my favourite was 530d M sport 2006. I have been away from BM for a while but still love them. I have a V70R Volvo 1998 which is awesoley quick but i am now looking for a 7 series, been looking at 740s but have seen a few very nice 728 sport on a 2001. What is the best option to go for ? got a budget of about £2500 so would be looking at 740s upto about 2000 etc. Many Thanks Dave
