Hi For what it's worth, on my X3 I replaced two worn tyres with Pirelli Scorpions and had these fitted to the rear (as advised). They are excellent tyres with very good road-holding and wear capabilities, and very important for me - they are QUIET! Not cheap at £150 a pop - but they are well worth it. Hope this helps.

Hi everyone! At long last I have got round to joining. I have a '57 plate X3 which I must say is about the best car I have owned. Had it for about a year and a half and apart from a service and a couple of Pirelli Scorpions, , have not had to do a thing to it. The service was done by a local firm - who take pride in their work and ran like a dream afterwards. (cannot afford the £130 or thereabouts per hour charged by a main dealer). Overall, beautiful car, solidly built, - only slight gripe is the overly firm suspension - but I can live with that. Regards to all.
