http://www.facebook....09254972521450/ below copied and pasted from the event WELCOME TO, THE RUN! The final location, will be undisclosed. Extra has invested approximately £75 million in a new Service Area on the M25 between junctions 9 and 10 at Cobham in Surrey - we will be heading off from here where there will be more than enough space for us all. We'll be making use of the A24 otherwise known as, The Mole Gap. The Mole Gap is a strong candidate for the most scenic road in the Home Counties, as it twists through the narrow valley through the North Downs. On the Mickleham bends [as this road is referred to] and has 2 lanes southbound. We are sure this event will surpass the previous Tunnel Run by /BMWOC and be more fun, entertaining with zero confusion and prevent attendees getting lost. We hope you can all attend, and par take in the other forms of entertainment lined up.. So please encourage fellow BMW owners to join in this mid-afternoon till late event - as we are very sure you will not be disappointed. Also; GUINNESS WORLD RECORDS!!! We have now setup to be breaking a world record in the "largest BMW convoy" as part of "THE RUN" - a record currently exists, set by 278 Issetas, we WILL be beating this!! But lets make this unbeatable guys so we need as many of you in attendance as possible!!! Currently we are expecting somewhere in the region of 700-1000 BMWs (hard to get an accurate figure at present due to wide spread knowledge) - all of whom are taking part in this GWR breaking convoy approx an hours drive away, keeping south of london. Yes that is a lot of BMWs and yes that is a long convoy.. around about 3.5 to 5miles in length ... or thereabouts... Want to be a part of the biggest BMW meet, and drive this world has ever seen? Then Get yourself to the Cobham Services on the M25 located between junctions 9 and 10 this Saturday (23rd). Also; We are now attempting another record breaking challenge.. to do the largest Harlem Shake!!! This will take place at the start location, so feel free to wear something silly, or a mask, or just come as yourself - all in a bit of fun :) DONT MISS OUT!!

some of you may be on facebook.. some of you may not.. We are BMW FB OC (BMW Facebook Owners Club), as stated, one located where the majority of people are in todays day, Facebook. Why? Mainly due to the convenience and ease for people to connect, ask questions, and quickly get a response. We're a club, for clubs, we dont want to poach members, we invite clubs such as this one, to participate in the events we put on and enjoy doing so. We've been around approx 9 months now, yet we also seem to be one of the most active amongst forums. We threw our first large scale event last year in November with an attendance larger than most have ever seen with a variety greater than you could imagine.. So I bring you to our next Event, we've named it 'The Run', the reason for this is simple, we're going to be convoying from one location to another down the A24, which if unknown to you is a really nice and reknowned road for a drive. In addition to this, we're going to be attempting to break a Guinness World Record for the longest convoy of BMW cars. The record currently sits at 278 Isseta's, it was the closest and what the GWR team deemed our category to suit. As it stands we have around 700 cars coming to this, people from all over the UK. following our last event we gained quite the rep to pull off decent events, and it shows with the current build and buzz that is circulating the BMW owner world. So the details.. It starts @ 4pm 23rd Feb 2013 (saturday) at the new Cobham Services on the M25 (situated between junctions 9 and 10. We will then be driving to an undisclosed location (just to make it all the more exciting - but dont worry, it shouldnt be any longer than 45mins in distance). We wont be leaving the services until around 6:30/7pm - which will give people enough time to arrive, and have a ponder around the other owners cars.. if you're running late and fear you wont get a chance to have a walk around, dont worry, you'll have the opportunity at the final location. I hope some more of you can attend, we're aiming for the big 1000, and with the way the numbers are increasing i think it might just be possible. So either get on facebook and come say hello, or simply turn up and we'll see you there. hey, I recently picked up my 330ci this weekend, and really couldnt be happier, have never owned a BMW before, a merc in the past (so have gone the german route once before), but this has excelled itself. However.. couple little issues that needed sorting (prev owner neg. to mention, but at the price i paid it was still a steal) Firstly was tracking, easily sorted once i found a garage that would actually beable to do it (as garages like QuickFit for example cannot grrr) at a nasty expense as following what i can presume as the new lowering arms they clearly didnt do the tracking after as it was about 7mm out on each will in opp directions so was actually crabbing down the road :S £100 later, sorted. Next, parking sensors:- these are making a constant beep noise when put into reverse, the noise then stops and doesnt return unless i come out of reverse and back in and not to mention they are not doing the job at all.. any ideas? Next, nr side sidelight:- this is randomly going off and on, i'll be driving down the road then my sensor telling me its out will come on (have checked and the sensor is telling the truth), then it will go off (and yes sidelight returns), i put it down to some sort of loose connection maybe? but any ideas on this and whether its a common fault etc (i believe my model has been fitted with the facelift angel eyes - or similar, not sure, not yet a BMW boff to be able to fully tell) Next, handbreak:- extremely loose, have to leave in gear on the slightest of inclines, and i mean slight.. is this easy to tighten? Brakes:- now this car had been off the road for a while, so had a bit of rust on the disks (expected), but every now and then the brakes warning light flickers on, and sometimes the ABS as well.. but however, new calipers were fitted only a year ago shortly before it came off the road, and new pads fitted only a month or so ago for its new MOT.. had a brief look through the wheels and the pads look fine, brakes work fine even.. yet alas this sensor flickers on and off at random times i think thats all my issues, any assistance will be greatfully received :) FYI my model is: BMW E46 330ci (2000) Thanks Simon
