hi all, i have a 745i, 4.4v8 and battery whent flat so i used jump leads and it turns over but no intentions of starting !, as if there is no fuel getting in engine (eg, cant smell any fuel), the AA came and said the ECU probably needs resetting, any ideas if its possible for me to reset ! eg, dissconnect the battery for a while ?, if anyone has ideas you could text me on my mobile and ill phone you back. 07961922498. thanks for reading Colin

Hi Dave, my alarm light is connected to my mirror (red dome thing) but no light comes on, im nearly convinced that it has somehow been dissarmed ?, someone must know how you dissarm/arm the alarm ?. Col

tried holding close button on remote, and asked around but nobody has the right answer yet ?, i have noticed purely by accident one night i was sat in car and turned ignition on and seen a reflection in a car parked infront of mine that my angel eyes were flashing ?, as if to signal something ? but nothing showing inside the car and no audio signal either, like i have said the car locks by remote ok just no alarm as if its been deactivated, any more ideas PLEASE. hi all, has anyone had nearside only front/rear wet carpets ?, ive just found how mine is getting wet, under the bonnet where you have the nearside pollen filter if you take the filter/casing off then the plastic intake tube connected to the interior ventilation off (just clips on/off), there is a place where water can gather and rise to the hight of entry into the air vents and flow into the car/carpets ?, i cant see at this time any kind of drain hole for this problem ( going to investigate it more soon), for example i seen the pool of water when checking my filters emptied the 4/5" of water out then whent for a car wash checked it again and found it full again ?, its going through the bonnet vent onto the top of the filter casing and draining into that chamber when it reaches the level of the air intake its draining into the car, the offside filter area is bone dry ??, its just the nearside problem, it does not seem to fill when/after rain fall ????, but only just found this problem so will let you know as and when i find a solution, hope this might help someone.

hi, im new today/first message, i have bought this 2005 745i, and the car is locking/unlocking but no signs eg lights flashing/beep to inform me its alarmed, and the red flashing indicater under the interior mirror does not flash, and if i sit in car then alarm it, it does not detect me ?, any ideas please, also i have been having a intermittent miss fire which has not happened in last few days, is this normal ????. thanks for any help/advice Colin
