  1. hi guys newbie here just picked up a x5 3.0d sport im not new to bmw's so was very aware of what i was going to get in terms of build etc what i wasnt prepared for was the fuel consumption holy mother does it like a drink, had a range rover td6 few years back so was really expecting it to be better than that i have a E39 M5 so im use to regular pump visits but just feel abit let down by the x5's fuel usage in any case what im looking to get abit more knowledge on is the egr delete i did this years back on a 530d i had i know the engine is a derivitive of the the M57 which was in the 530d this being the M57N2 on the x5 with 218bhp , can it support the egr bypass also? has anyone done this on here ant feedback would be much appreciated
