  1. Website doesn't work for DC, have they set a date yet?
  2. Check that the wires are not chaffed. This happens on RHD models due to different location of the wiring plug. If that is the case, repair and it will be ok. If not, get a new pretensioner from a breaker. Gret the light reset and hey presto.
  3. Steering wheel off, undo the two screws just above the cluster and then pull it out a bit. Then disconnect the 3 electrical connections and remove.
  4. A battery has a vent on the side, you can charge it with it closed, but the gases will prevent an efficient charge. Best thing to do it open them and then charge. Also don't use a trickle charger, they kill batterys due to overcharging. Use an intellegent charger like a CTEK
  5. This can also be sorted by adjusting the door, as you go round the corner the door may move making and breaking the door switch. When you open the door the window drops and then goes up when you close it. If it makes and breaks the door switch, it will think that the door is opening and closing. Try the relays first, and then adjust the door if need be.
  6. EuroCarParts do one for about a tenner. Can be used for all BMW's with the small or big round terminal under the bonnet. The resistor or wire method works, but if you get it wrong, you can cause mucho damage.
  7. +1, grab the end bit and twist hard, it will pop off. You will have to get something very sticky and something that actually sticks to glass to ensure that it stays on the screen
