  1. Got it sorted fresh new MOT now :). Anyone make it to pod?
  2. Looks like I'm not going :(. My E36 failed her MOT on rear wheel bearing and Anti Roll Bar Drop Link. In the garage at the moment but not sure when she will be back :(.
  3. Yeh I used to use Autoglym when I got my first car, it is a really easy product to use but find personally that the finishes weren't quite as good as others if you know what your doing. I have both Dodo and Megs clay bars can't say I notice a difference between the two. Megs metal polish is amazing!!! If you do look into getting the Kleen Freaks like myself I recommend looking into the snow foam kit and shampoo. That's what I used at my mates and it's awesome.
  4. Cool. Must be quite a low offset then.
  5. Cool, what kind of ET are they? had to run 25mm spacers to get my wheels away from my coilovers at the front.
  6. They look pretty nice Kev, what size are they? Brought myself some 17" 9j Rota Grid Drifts not to long ago.
  7. Never tried any BMW cleaning products personally. I've always sworn by Meguiars but recently I used a new product that my mate had and I am completely sold. There a new company not sure where there based but I am converting as soon as I need new products :). http://www.kleenfreaks.co.uk/
  8. Welcome Kev. E36 nice choice :P. What wheels have you got yourself?
  9. So is that a no to the BMWOC stand?
  10. Welcome to the club :).
  11. Hmmmmm this is true. I'll check tonight when I go out. Cheers mate.
  12. Yeh, scored all the pad and shoe surfaces. All brake dust and rust cleared as much as possible. The only thing I didn't copper grease are the springs for the handbrake shoes. Don't see that causing the squeak under light braking though. Copper greased the back and edges of the pads and the carriers. I'm leaning more to a possible seized calliper :(. Had a bit of trouble winding back one of the and the rest pushed back quite easily.
  13. Wohoo, Cheers pal. Much appreciated.
  14. Hi everyone, I'm trying to find out what colour my E6 is. Part of the sticker is missing and all I can see is 'ntblau metallic' I can't seem to find anywhere what it's meant to say. For some reason I have Contblau Metallic in my mind, may be me being crazy. can anyone help? Cheers.
  15. Hi Gary, I have a Calssic Mini and wanted to buy a cover for her. I was advised that unless you willing to spend some good money on one then to leave it. In the wind the flapping about ect. can damage/scratch the paint work. So personally I would leave it. But that being said you have a convertible and I assume you want a cover to protect that? In my personal opinion I wouldn't get one but instead just look after the roof material for example don't put the roof down if the material is wet or damp as it can shrink then rip when you put it back up. Keep it clean, there are products you can buy to help protection. Little things like that you want to keep in mind. Hope this helps, I'm sure there are others with different opinions on here.
  16. I'm not to sure to be honest mate. But I believe the connection for the aerial in my E36 is in the drivers side of the boot. If I'm correct it's behind the carpet covering the wing. The radio never worked on mine from when I first brought the car and put it down to the head unit. When I stripped out the car I found the aerial cable unplugged there. Sure someone else on here can either confirm or call me a liar haha. Good luck.
  17. Is there going to be a BMWOC stand this year or are we all just going to meet up there? I'll be there in my E36 hopefully two of my mates will be coming in the E46's.
  18. Welcome to you to xixi727.
  19. Hi Everyone, I finally got my new brakes all fitted. I have replaced front pads, disc's and sensor. Rear pads, disc's, sensor and handbrake shoes. I ran the them in for about 180-200 miles keeping off the heavy braking or driving to fast :P. But now when under gentle braking I have squeaky brakes. Could this be due to being new brakes and the're just getting bedded in? I copper slipped everything that should be and cleaned up the carriers so shouldn't be that. Or could it possibly be a seized/sticky calliper? I didn't have a bit of trouble pushing back the front drivers side but all the rest were fine. Cheers boys and girls. Steve.
  20. Welcome. I'm sure you will find your answers here :).
  21. Welcome mate. I sold my MK1 Golf GTI to buy my first BM. There seems to be some king of pattern going on here haha.
  22. Hi and welcome :).
  23. Hi guy's. Sorry I didn't make this :(. I know I let you down. I had a blow out the evening before on the A413. Tyre split completely in two, left the tyre wall on the inside of the rim and the rest flapping about at about 70mph. P.S. How do I add pictures? I wanted to upload one of the state of my tyre :(.
