sounds like it could be a head gasket problem ! if it not an airlock,thermostat or pump !!

The wheels should fit ok as long as the tyre profile isnt too big.As for the juddering it could be warped discs but id get that whole area (discs,pads,shocks,bushes etc) checked out just in case of anything else :)
