Sounds perfect to me :) And smaller engine temps will always rise quicker than bigger engines :)

Defo give the starter a tap or 2,or another way is to put the car into gear,handbrake off (unless on a hill,lol) then get out and rock the car back and forth a few times,that usually releases it too :)
Welcome to BMWOC :) As far as I know BMW gear nobs just pull off.....altho you do have to give it some welly....I did on mine but it came off !!
Welcome to BMWOC :) Try an air induction cone,s/steel exhaust,and a remap...job done !! oh and maybe lower it :) p.s. I hate the word/term CHAV being used for car modifiers !!
