Best thing to do is get cross drilled/grooved discs all round and better pads like Brembo,Green Stuff,Yellow Stuff etc. I did it to my 3 series and glad I did :) check ebay for the bits you need :) -

I've Just Bought My First Beemer - Help Required!

This is the cone and heat shield,the shield stops the heat from the alternator below getting sucked in by the cone,hot air = no good !! Got my exhaust sytem from ebay for 250 quid Cant really comment about mods for your Beemer as its a e46 318 and mines an e36 323,soz

TBF this forum does need more women,but unfortunatly it seems to be the way with car clubs,except designated womens car clubs,and theres not many of them !! <aybe we should have a 'women only section' to entice a few more in :)
