  1. A full decoke, i bet that put a dent in the xmas fund, shell v-power nitro is what we use in our diesel vehicles, the difference in performance is noticeable.
  2. I did'nt mention anything about ignoring warning lights, i used to be a car mechanic so ignoring warning lights is the last is the last thing i would do
  3. I did'nt mention nothing about ignoring warning lights, i used to be a car mechanic so wtf you on about ?
  4. Welcome to the forum
  5. No problem, it may not be one of bmw's better engines but the four lump in my compact has been fine, after sorting a few minor niggles, if it has'nt already been done, changing the cam chain tensioner is worth doing it's a cheap and easy preventative measure.
  6. It could the expansion tank seeping or a pin holed rad ( mine was a pin hole in the rad ) and the contamination on the dipstick looks the same as yours, i don't worry about as the car drives perfectly.
  7. Unless it's something that is not common, why would you bother ?
  8. A replacement badge is best imo.
  9. From what i gather, you have never checked the oil level on your or understand that modern cars do use oil ?, not having a dig but this seems to be the case.
  10. That maybe the diff. when last was the oil changed or topped up, it might not cure the whining but it's worth doing especially if the car been driven in a spirited manor on a regular basis.
  11. Black on black edition ? does'nt exist, look up e30's on the wikipedia, also get some pics up :)
  12. Opening the window is causing a vacuum, which car is the problem with the e30 or 36 ? either way i would be checking the fuel tank and filler neck for pin holes.
  13. Spend your money on service items ie.. plugs, air filter, oil & oil filter, i would'nt bother chipping a 2.3. and welcome to the forum.
