  1. Im pleased you found the culprit. Does it feel a lot better now? It also raises the question how the tracking can go out while it is in the garage.
  2. Run flats are from £250 each.
  3. Tyre pressures sound ok. It may be that the tyres had bedded themselves in to the cars set up and it has thrown them out by swapping them over.
  4. Welcome to the club Gail. Car looks great and we are a friendly bunch on here so hope you enjoy the forum.
  5. It could be the tracking needs adjusting or it could be the tyre pressures were not adjusted after they swapped the tyres around. The rear tyre pressures should be higher than the front tyres. If your still not happy with the feel of the car get the front and rear tyres swapped back. I have had rear wheel drive cars behave very strangely for no reason before. I had one car that became very difficult to control on occasions. It would start swerving all over the place for no reason at around 50mph. I had the suspension and bushes all checked and still this would happen on occassions. So I swapped the wheels around front to back and all was fine.

For some reason I cant copy and paste the links straight in but if you copy these and put these in the address bar they will work.
  7. Welcome along Michael. The knock could be a top shock absorber mount in addition to the items you have already mentioned.

  12. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7m6OkuJSH1E I thought I would share this with you. Its my Daughter doing her version of John Legends Ordinary People. Hope you enjoy it.
  13. I've got to say Myles car does look mean blacked.
  14. Welcome along Jim. Id love a 7 Series but it wouldn't fit in my Garage and parking where I live is a mare.
  15. Nice one :)
  16. Go for the rear tints. You need to ensure that if smoking the front windows they are still 70% clear. As these are already tinted you are likely to go over. Dont touch the windscreen obviously. Also you must inform the insurance as they will not pay out if you need them to. My insurance company wanted around £70 a year more, so I fitted a blind in the back instead. I dont know about putting black on black. It looks ok where I have seen it done on older versions in other colours. You might want to find a few pictures on the net to see if it looks ok first. Personally I like the chrome on the M Sport.
  17. Welcome along Myles
  18. I would stick to the Nightbreakers. I have used these on a lot of my previous cars and they are significantly better than stock bulbs. Not on the current BMW though as this has the factory Xenons. If you have amber lenses on your indicators you will need clear bulbs. If the lenses are clear then you will need amber bulbs. However Cree do bulbs that look clear but give off an amber light which you can use on clear lenses.
  19. Think you will have to see how it goes and let us know if its any better. I've not experienced it myself so cant be of anymore help.
  20. The Osram Nightbreaker Ultimates are great. Don't use LED's. They are only good in sidelights and number plate lights as they wont put any beam on the road. There not legal anyway as a headlight bulb.
  21. I think your best taking Daz's advice. I'm aware of other manufacturers using plastic impellers which are a weak point.
  22. Welcome along Tony
  23. As far as I can see the battery is the main issue and will stop this feature if it is low to save power. With the new battery in have you been doing short journeys, using your heated seats or just locking and unlocking the doors to see if the function is working?
