I'd of had an M3 but not any tidy ones really for the money I'd like to pay.

Hi guys, which is the best 3 series to buy for around £1500 - £2500? It will only be used for evenings and weekends as I commute to work on a train due to it only costing me £8.40 per day and cant do that for an hours drive plus car parking all day. So running costs wont worry me really due to this, cheers in advance. I'm new to BMW but want a 3 series soon as a toy. :P Also I am 42 with NCB's so insurance cheap too.
