Bob almond

My x5 is 2011 model and I have not been using it for somedays now because I cannot trace where and how water enters the car while in motion and when it rains.. The water collects and drop through a hole around the bonnet liver and empties into the driver's foot carpet. The water is always much and the car is 30000 mileage. The open roof facility is permanently shot. Please help advise. Thank you.
